Jan was back with Belong from the 2nd – 4th December 2020, this time at their Belong Village in Wigan. This weeks course was a three day Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques train the trainer course and we had three participants attending, Kay Billingsley, Anna Buryn and Lesley Bailey. They also had Ann Marie Porter join them on day two as a refresher for her current accreditation. As you can see from the photo below the three participants were thrilled to all achieve a pass and be awarded their certificate of accreditation at the end of the three days.

4th December 2020

Today Janet visited Ash Trees Academy in Billingham to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs refresher evaluation workshop. We had two participants attending from the school, Karen Husband and Melanie Playfor and they were also joined by two participants, Claire Landreth and Wendy Wharton from nearby Catcote Academy. It was a busy day with a lot of areas covered and all worked hard whilst adhering to the social distancing measures.

This weeks course ran from the 30th November 2020 until 4th December and was a Handling People with Special Needs Education train the trainer masterclass course. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic and staff having to isolate we had a couple of participants who were unable to attend so only had two participants on the course, however they made the most of this and worked really well together through the week. The two participants that attended were Joanne Clark from Swindon Borough Council and Kim Douglas from Westlea Primary School in Swindon.
