27th September 2019
This weeks course was a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop for staff based within schools who have previously attended and successfully passed a Centaur five day Masterclass Course.
We had two Key trainer from High Furlong School attending, Debra Moss and Carol Taylor, they were joined by Kathryn Trego from Mayfield School in Lancashire.
Although there were only three Key Trainers attending today it was still a very busy and productive day with the Centaur trainer covering a number of areas including theory training delivery ideas, risk assessments, responsibility of the trainer and a number of practical techniques.

This was the first course ran by our new primary trainer, James and I am pleased to say that it went great with brilliant feedback received from the three participants. The course was held at Aberdeenshire Council’s office in Inverurie on the 23rd August 2019. We had three participants attending, Lynda Watson and Jacqueline Smith both from the council, they were joined by Giridhar Ravi from The Highland Hospice in Inverness. James said that the day went very well with all three participants demonstrating high standards and will continue to make great Key Trainers.
“Course felt like you were participating all the time with both the trainer and other participants, best refresher I have been on“ Lynda Watson, Employee Development Officer, Aberdeenshire Council
