Handing People with Special Needs Education Train the Trainer Masterclass

This weeks course was a Handling People with Special Needs Education train the trainer masterclass course which was held at New Fosseway School in Bristol from the 21st – 25th January 2019. It was a great week and the trainer was made to feel very welcome, commenting on how lovely the group were to work with and that they worked very well together and helped each other during the problem solving tasks. Attending the course we had Charlotte Baker and Billie Quinn both from New Fosseway School, they were joined by Claire Moore from the SEND services at Wiltshire Council and Kim Magner, Helen Martell and Diane Nurse all from Bristol Community Health CIC.

Kingdom Training Ltd 14th – 16th January 2019

The first course of the new year was a three day Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques train the trainer masterclass course for Kingdom Training/Kingdom Homes Ltd in Kirkcaldy, Fife. We had eight participants for this course so it was busy and active three days with lots of practical techniques and problem solving along with risk assessment and theory knowledge tests. Attending the course we had Colin Petrie, Marion Francis, Susan Carney, Fiona Miller, Gary Logan, Vanessa Brewer, Sam Boyd and Sheena Cringean.

I have enjoyed the course and have left learning two new techniques that I feel are invaluable in a care home setting“ - Fiona Miller, SVQ Assessor/Trainer, Kingdom Homes
