Handling People with Special Needs Education Train the Trainer Course

This week’s course was held at Manor Green School in Maidenhead from the 25th – 29th September 2017. Maureen had a very busy week at the school training five new Key Trainers on the Handling People with Special Needs Education course.  Attending the course we had Donna Hewitt from Crownbridge School in Torfaen, Gareth Joyce from Keech Hospice Care in Luton, Kate Mason from The Castle School in West Berkshire and Suzanne Wrigglesworth and Lindsey Tassi both from Manor Green School.

Sheringham Woodfields School Refresher Course

On the 26th September 2017, Janet Hunt spent the day at Sheringham Woodfields School in Norfolk to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher workshop. Attending the course we had Iwona Lithiwiec and Nicola Stewart both based in Sheringham Woodfields School, they were joined by Ruth Murphy from John Grant School.

Bamburgh School Masterclass Course 18th September 2017 – 22nd September 2017

This week  Jackie traveled to Bamburgh School in South Shields to train seven new Key Trainers on the Handling People with Special Needs Education course. It was a very busy week and all the participants worked really hard and ended the week achieving a pass for the course.

 

Attending the course and pictured above we had Claire Chamberlain, Lynda Wheater, Eve Wyatt and Darren Carr all from Bamburgh School, they were joined by Beverley O’Niel from Education World, Clare Landreth from Catcote College and Steph Cargill from The Darlington Education Village.

Refresher Evaluation Workshop, Bristol

This weeks course of the week was held at Claremont School in Bristol on the 14th September 2017. This Handling People with Special Needs refresher evaluation workshop was a very busy day spent covering many areas including risk assessment, time constraints, specialist slings and new training delivery ideas.

Attending the course we had Matthew Donovan from Claremont School, he was joined by Emma Oakley from New Fosseway School, Karen Hughes from Barrs Court School and Victoria Haynes from The Hawthorn Centre in Staffordshire. All four Key Trainers are pictured above, don’t worry they are not real sheep!

East Anglia Children’s Hospice

Jackie spent the day at East Anglia Children’s Hospice on the 4th September 2017 to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs refresher evaluation workshop to the three Key Trainers based in the hospice. It was a great day with lots of information shared, Jackie even picked up a tip or two! Attending the course was Barbara Jenge, Caroline Church and Janette Kerry. They all did very well through out the day and all ended the course achieving a pass with merit, Well done.
