York One Day Refresher Course

On the 25th January 2017, Janet Hunt spent the day at Applefields School in York to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop to seven Key Trainers. It was a very busy and full day, running all the way through until 5pm, with many areas covered including emergency evacuation procedures and techniques.

Attending the course we had Sarah Sinnott from Hob Moor Oaks School in York, Melissa Ashton, Catherine Patrick and Anne Atkinson all from Applefields School, Gillian Hope from Temple Moor High School in Leeds and Graeme Oxtoby from Frederick Holmes School in Hull.

Durham County Council Refresher Course

On the 20th January 2017, Janet Hunt was joined by four of the Key Trainers to refresher their knowledge and skills on the Handling People with Special Needs Education training resource. Attending the course we had Linda Davison and Kathryn Bulman from Park House, Michelle Francis from Durham Trinity School and Gurbaksh Sandhu from Broom Cottage Primary School.

Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques Masterclass Course

Jan Crawford traveled up to Aberdeen from the 16th – 18th January 2017, to deliver a three day Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques train the trainer course. Attending the course we had Jacqueline Smith from Aberdeenshire County Council and she was joined by Neil Jarman from The Stroke Association.
