CLS Care 27th – 29th June 2016

 

Jan Crawford was back at one of the CLS care locations this week to train another five Key Trainers on the Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques Masterclass course. Attending the course was Catherine Brown, Kate Jauffur, Caroline Newton, Samantha Hill and Tomasz Lasota. Fantastic feedback from Samantha, ” I really enjoyed the course, I learnt a lot and Jan made me feel comfortable.”

Evergreen School, County Durham

Today’s course was held at Evergreen School in Bishop Auckland and was a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher workshop. Attending the course was Beverley Richardson and Catherine Coley both from Evergreen School and they were joined by Suzanne Peacock from Fell Dyke School in Gateshead. The day was well spent covering a number of practical techniques and looking at problem solving.

The Avenue School, Reading

The Avenue School in Reading held their yearly refresher course on the 24th June 2016 and requested Janet Hunt as the trainer. There were three participants all from The Avenue School, Mary Harris, Iram Illahi and Kelly Boahene. Janet commented that she received a lovely welcome to the school as always and that it was a very positive day with a small but very focused group.

St Luke’s Primary School, Scunthorpe

On the 21st June 2016 Janet Hunt traveled to St Luke’s Primary School in Scunthorpe to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop. Janet commented that the day was spent well covering many areas which in turn lead to a very positive day and she said that they were “a most enjoyable group to train”.

Attending the course there was Gillian Dickins, Len Baldwin, Sylvia Kirk and Zoe Martin all from St Luke’s School, they were joined by Megan Ceclich from The Cambridge Park Academy in Grimsby.

 

Aberdeenshire Council Refresher Course

Janet Brewer traveled back to Aberdeen on the 20th June 2016, to deliver another one day refresher evaluation workshop to six Key Trainers based within the council. The course concentrated on refreshing the Key Trainers knowledge on many techniques and all the participants finished the course passing with merit.

Falkirk Council Train the Trainer Masterclass Course

Janet Brewer was back with Falkirk Council this week, 15th – 17th June 2016, to train another set of Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques Key Trainers. Attending the course and photographed above was Darren Heddle from Gold Healthcare, Richard Bloodworth, Desmond Johnstone and Suzanne McPhee all from Falkirk Council and Marjie McCullie and Diane Gallagher both from 1st Home Care.

 

 

 

Palmerston School, Liverpool

Janet Hunt spent the day on the 16th June 2016 at Palmerston School in Liverpool to deliver a one day  refresher evaluation workshop to five Key Trainers. Attending the course there was Angela McMullan and Louise Swift both from Palmerston School, Jo Espley from The Royal School for the Blind, Joanne Milnes from Green Lane School and Maire Rooney from Redbridge High School. All the Key Trainers had various areas that they wanted to cover during the day so it was a very busy course with many techniques covered and lots of new knowledge shared.

Handling People with Special Needs Education Refresher Workshop

Today’s course was held at Park Lane Special School in Aberdare and was a Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop. We had seven participants in total from various schools in the area. Karen Beecham, Beth Laura Davies and Julie Anne Taylor were all from the host school, they were joined by Marian Farrelly and Annette Sallis both from Crownbridge School and Karen Pitman and Karen Murphy who were both from Ysgol Ty Coch.
