Aberdeen City Council One Day Refresher Course

Janet Hunt made the long journey up to Aberdeen, on the 29th April 2016, to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher course to three key trainers. The course was held at Braeside School and Janet praised the school for their hospitality and for ensuring that she had access to everything that was needed for the course plus offering fantastic refreshments and lunch. It was a busy day and all three Key Trainers finished the course achieving a pass with merit.

Portland Academy, Sunderland Refresher Course

On the 21st April 2016 Janet Hunt returned to the Portland Academy in Sunderland to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher course to six existing Key Trainers. It was a very busy day with all the participants achieving a pass at the end of the course. Great feedback received for Janet and the course  including “ Very enjoyable, refreshing and good to talk to other professionals and share ideas and practice”  from Suzanne Carr at Hopewood Academy.

City & County of Swansea Refresher day

Janet Brewer and Jackie Howe both traveled to Swansea on the 15th April 2016 to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education one day refresher course to the very large team of Key Trainers based within the council. Attending the course we had Morag Jones, Cris Simons-Ebden, Claire Hollowood, Liz Baynton-Clarke, Carole Lewis, Claire Johns, Sian Jones, Joe Lawrence, Bethan Thomas, Helena Jones, Clare Lewis, Beverley Davies and Joannah Fox. It was a very busy and productive day with both trainers covering many areas including a number of practical techniques.

Handling People with Special Needs Refresher Course – 14th April 2016

Today’s course was held at Woodlands School in Luton and the trainer today was Janet Hunt. The four participants for this course were Corinne Olley and Gordon Packer from Glenwood School in Essex and Vicki Moss and Rachel Morris both from Woodlands School in Luton. It was a busy day spent looking at many areas including updates to legislation and new equipment.

 

Humberston Park School One Day Refresher Course

Janet Hunt was in Grimsby today, 11th April 2016, at Humberston Park School to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education Refresher Evaluation day to the four Key Trainers from the school. It was a very busy day which focused on risk assessment along with new techniques and equipment and hoisting protocol.
