Mandeville School – 27th November 2015

This week Janet Hunt traveled to Mandeville School in Greenford to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop.The two key trainers based at the school had a clear plan of what they would like to cover during the day and looked at equipment, problem solving and transferring difficult pupils. Janet said it was a superb day which was used very productively.

Harnam Lall and Rita Kumar – Mandeville School Key Trainers

2nd course for Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar – 24th – 26th November 2015

This is the 2nd of 4 Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques courses that we running for Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. This weeks course was attended by Madeleine Macaulay, Shona Davidson, Lorraine Drummond, Sue Riley , Donella Campbell and Muriel Macleod. All six participants worked very hard for the three days and all finished the course achieving a pass.

Yarrow Housing 23rd November 2015

Jan Crawford spent the day at Yarrow Housing in London with three Key Trainers, Martyne O’Reilly, Pavlina Sindelkova and Hamid Mahmood, to deliver a Handling People with Special Needs refresher course. Jan said that it was a good day with a well motivated group who enjoyed refreshing their skills.

Regency High School and Fort Royal School Refresher Workshop

On the 20th November 2015 Janet Hunt spent the day with six Key Trainers based at Regency High School and Fort Royal School in Worcester to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education Refresher course. This group are very experienced trainers and they attend these one day refresher sessions on a yearly basis.

Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar Train the Trainer Course Number 1

Janet Brewer made the long journey up to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis this week, 17th – 19th November 2015, to deliver the first of four Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques train the trainer Masterclass courses for Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar. The course was well received with all five participants working hard and all achieved a pass at the end of the three days.

Carrongrange School, Falkirk

Janet Hunt traveled to Fakirk to deliver a course for Carrongrange School on Saturday 14th November 2015, we don’t normally run courses on a Saturday however the school requested this day so that they could access all the required equipment without disturbance. This led to a very packed day which was spent looking at problem solving and practical techniques. Attending the course was Claire Kellett, Paula O’Boyle and Jan Desmond, who are pictured below. 

Woodlands School, Blackpool

The course of the week was at Woodlands School in Blackpool on the 12th November 2015. Janet Hunt joined the three key trainers from the school on a Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop. The three key trainers had a clear idea of the areas which they wanted to cover during the refresher course which led to a very productive and enjoyable day with all three key trainers achieving a pass with merit at the end of the course.

Lady Zia Wernher School, Luton Refresher Evaluation Workshop

Janet Brewer traveled to Luton today, 10th November 2015, to deliver a one day Handling People with Special Needs Education refresher evaluation workshop. Attending the course was Karleen Burton, Margaret Matthews and Valerie Field from Lady Zia Wernher School they were joined by Nikki Horne from St Johns School in Kempston and Chris Fry from Action for Children.

Penn Hall School

Janet Hunt spent the day, 9th November 2015, with six Key Trainers from Penn Hall School in Wolverhampton. This set of Key Trainers attend a one day practical update on a regular basis rather than completing the paper based evaluation questionnaires. They had a clear focus of what they wanted to cover during the one day refresher session and it was a very busy but productive day. All six Key Trainers achieved a pass with merit at the end of the day so well done to each of them.
