SEN & Inclusion Service – Sefton

We had both Janet’s visiting Sefton Council on the 20th, 21st, 24th & 25th November 2014 to deliver a Handling People with Special Needs Education train the trainer course to 15 new Key Trainer. Attending the course we had Tina Galletly from Sefton SEN & Inclusion Service, Susan Kewin from Stanley High School, Clare Peart from Larkfield Primary School, Jenny Robinson from Springbrook, Emma Kirk from Summerhill Primary School, Deborah Fraser from Litherland Moss Primary School, Rachel Wild from SEN & Inclusion Service, Claire Ozcan and Karen Parker from Aintree Davenhill School, Barbara Talent from Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Sue Turner from Maghull High School, Julie Fleetwood from Cambridge Children’s Centre, Joanne Hunter from Greenbank High School, Beth Byers from Rimrose Hope C of E Primary School and finally Vicky Marie Alexander from Range High School.

Handling People with Special Needs Train the Trainer Course

Janet Hunt visited New Fosseway School in Bristol from the 10th – 14th November 2014 to deliver a Handling People with Special Needs train the trainer course to six new Key Trainers.

Attending we had Emma Oakley and Tamsyn Pickett from the host school, they were joined by Raegan Carnell from Bidewell Brook School in Devon, Ruth French and Stacey Smith from Barnardo’s and Helen Wilshire from Warmley Park School in Warmley.

A very productive week was had by all and brilliant feedback received from the new trainers.

The Complete Group

Janet Hunt and Jan Crawford spent two days each running this tailored Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques course for The Complete Group from the 3rd to the 6th November 2014.  The course covered a full range of manual handling techniques from children up to elderly clients.

Craigmarloch School, Port Glasgow

Here we have, from left to right, Eileen Myles from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde joined by Karen Clark and Nicola Murray from Craigmarloch School in Port Glasgow. Janet spent the day with them on the 6th November 2014 delivering a one day Handling People with Special Needs refresher course. A nice relaxed approach to the day was taken with all three Key Trainers finding the day very informative.
