Salters Gate – MasterClass

This week Janet Hunt delivered a 5 Day Handling People with Special Needs Education MasterClass to 5 participants at Salter’s Gate School in Dalkeith. Attending the course were Leigh Currie and Caroline McLean from Salters Gate, alongside Audrey Mill, Paula O’Boyle and Tracey Sharples from Falkirk Council. We received a wealth of positive feedback with one participant commenting; “I found Janet to be a fantastic trainer. I really enjoyed the course and the way she delivered it.”

Aberdeenshire Council

This week Janet Brewer traveled up to Aberdeen to deliver a 3 Day Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques Masterclass to five participants.

Aberdeenshire Council 25-27 September Masterclass

Attending the course were Alison Churchfield, Amy Smith, Louise Harrison, Stephanie Simpson and Claire Reid – all from Aberdeenshire Council. We received some great comments with all participants complimenting Janet’s course delivery. One attendee noted “Pitched perfectly to the knowledge base of the group! Enjoyed the course much more than I expected to!”

Today Janet Brewer was at Salters Gate School in Dalkeith to deliver a One Day Refresher Workshop in Handling People with Special Needs Education. Attending the course we had Jane Jamieson from Salters Gate School, joined by Vincent Bowles from Scottish Autism, Morna MacDonald from East Lothian Council, Norma Findlay from Leith Social Work Centre, alongside Lyn Mills and Heather Thomson from Falkirk Council. We received great feedback including: “All aspects of the course were very good. It was good to get together with other trainers and discuss issues under the great knowledge of Janet.”

North Lanarkshire Council

Today Janet Hunt was at St Barbara’s Primary School Annexe to deliver a One Day Refresher Workshop in Handling People with Special Needs Education. Attending the course were 6 participants from Redburn School; Sheila Kerr, Sheena Delaney, Fiona McColl, Mhairi Sadiq and Elizabeth Reid. Janet came back to us with lots of great feedback regarding the participants, and in turn they were very complimentary of the course and Janet’s delivery and style of training.

CLS Care

Today Jan was at Westy Hall in Warrington to deliver another One Day Refresher Worksop in Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques to participants from CLS Care. Attending this course we had Julie Lawrence, Lisa Bradley, Belinda Jones, Jayne Harrison, Sharon Bull and Penny Mottram. We received some great feedback, including: “This was an excellent opportunity to discuss practical issues with Jan and gain support in applying adaptations to techniques normally given to the staff team.”

Kingfisher School

Today Janet Brewer was at Kingfisher School in Oldham to deliver a One Day Refresher in Handling People with Special Needs Education to five of their members of staff. Attending the course we had Cath Croke, Lisa Howarth, Pat Gregory, Anne Tomlinson and Sheila Whiteley. All participants reported having a great day and were very complimentary of Janet.

Park Mount Care Home

Today Jan was at Park Mount Care Home in Cheshire to deliver a One Day Refresher Workshop in Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques. Attending the course we had Andrew O’Hara from Park Mount Care Home who was joined by Gillian Hughes from the University of Chester, Amy Johnson from Numast alongside Roz Scammell and Mandy Walker from Nuffield Bournemouth. We received positive feedback indicating that participant’s had an enjoyable and productive day.

Nuffield Health Perioperative Handling Course

This week Janet Brewer was at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital to deliver a 3 Day Perioperative Handling and Patient Positioning Masterclass. Attending the course we had Isobel Martin from Nuffield Hereford, Karen Adams from Nuffield Chichester, Joanna Crawford-High from Nuffield Newcastle, Kathryn Knibbs from Nuffield Derby, Maureen Nolan from Galway University Hospital and Gabriel Nolan from NRG Handling Galway. We received a lot of positive feedback regarding Janet’s excellent delivery of the course and all participants were very complimentary of her training style and delivery.

CLS Care

Today Jan was at City House in Chester to deliver a One Day Refresher Workshop in Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques. Attending the course were three participants from CLS Care; Phil Caine, Steve Maddock and Anne-Marie Shaw. We received very positive feedback, with one attendee stating: “The day was full of good information, and the course was very enjoyable – as always!”
