Executive Care Group, Newcastle

This week Janet Brewer was in Newcastle delivering a 4 day Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques course to 8 participants from Executive Care Group; Anthony Griffith, Claire Cowgill, Maria Cacovean, Kelly Angus, Pam Horsted, Tanya Robson, Christine Nichol and  Michelle Scott.“Janet was very clear, precise and enjoyable”, one of the participants noted.

Emcare Solutions, Glasgow

This week, Janet Brewer travelled to Emcare Solutions in Glasgow to deliver a 3 Day Load Management Theory and Client Handling Techniques course. Attending the course were Julie Shannon through Stewart First Aid/Emcare, Michelle Hatt from Warwickshire Council, Stuart Eglinton through Trust Housing Association and Nicola McIntosh from Falkirk Council. All in all it was said to be an enjoyable course, with lots of praise for Janet; “Janet was an excellent trainer and full of worldly knowledge, had lots of facts & information and a fun element to the course.”

Ysgol Crug Glas

This week, Janet Hunt attended Ysgol Crug Glas in Swansea to deliver a 5 dDay Handling People with Special Needs course. Attending the course we had Elizabeth Baynton-Clarke, Clare Hollowood and Carole Lewis from Swansea’s Access to Learning, Claire Johns from Whitestone Primary, Claire Lewis from Penllergaer Primary, Joe Lawrence from Ysgol Pen-Y-Bryn and Tania Spicer-Short joining the group from Addington School in Wokingham. Janet was able to tailor the course to accommodate the varying levels of experience amongst the participants, and one member stated: “Thank you for the opportunity to train in a supportive atmosphere. It makes learning easier and assessments slightly less daunting.”

Barford Refresher

Jan Crawford was in Barford to deliver a One Day refresher in Load Management Theory & Client Handling Techniques this week. Attending the course were 6 participants from Warwickshire Council; Karen Gill, Lindsay Clements, Rachael Mathers, Sarah Coyle, Lorna Warrender and Sarah Brinkworth. The participants described the course as “very useful and enjoyable.”

The Farnley Academy

This week Janet Brewer visited West SILC at The Farnley Academy in Leeds to deliver a Handling People with Special Needs One Day Refresher Workshop to three Key Trainers. A very productive day was had by all three; attending we had Sarah Riley and  Julie Maston from West SILC and Ann Gaffney who traveled across from The Orchards School in Bolton.
