West Oaks School, Leeds

This week Janet attended West Oaks School in Leeds to deliver a One Day Refresher Workshop for Handling People with Special Needs Key Trainers. Attending the course we had Cathie Ward from West Oaks School, Mickayla Holmes-Wells from Humberston Park School, Sarah Irvine, Sandra Hardy and Trudy Weston from Sunderland City Council and Susan Greggan and Margaret Miller from Bury Council. It was a very positive day, filled with shared experiences and problem solving. We received a lot of positive feedback which indicated participants were keen to share their knowledge and learn from other trainers.

Exciting News…

Towards the back end of last year, the team at Centaur Training and Development Ltd. worked very hard behind the scenes and are now pleased to announce that with immediate effect our Load Management Theory and Client Handling Techniques and Handling People with Special Needs courses are now licensed by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). This means that in addition to the normal certificate we issue, all successful candidates will now receive a separate certificate direct from IOSH. We are very proud to this start to the New Year, keep checking the website for more news in the coming months ahead!
